One of the most frustrating things to work through when you decide to renovate is working out who to trust. When we had started our renovation we initially chose a builder that promised a lot but who ultimately left us disappointed, frustrated, and unsure of whether we would ever get the project complete.

It was at this point that we met Matt. Matt listened to our concerns and our plans and told us in very straight forward terms what could be done and what couldn’t be done and at what price. He was the straight talking builder we had always hoped to find. Matt worked with us on the design to ensure our dreams and cost would match.

He told us a price and stuck to it. Any variations were discussed up front and presented as options – not costs. Matt and his team were very punctual and professional and most of all knew what they were talking about, they even were thorough about cleaning up after themselves. We were happy that we were partners in the process.

At the end of the build we were all happy that the vision became a reality and we now have a home that we are happy to live in. If you want a building team that will give you the truth, good options and first class workmanship then we cannot recommend to you more strongly the guys from The Lost Art of Construction. We would certainly use them again and recommend them to our friends.

I am happy to recommend the work of the Lost Art of Construction. We compared a range of builders and obtained quotes to have our home extensively renovated, adding 2 additional bedrooms, an ensuite and a new open plan living area to our home. The Lost Art of Construction were very professional, competitive in price and demonstrated a very high level of craftsmanship.

Matt, in particular was great to deal with from the initial enquiry continuing until the job was completed, he was knowledgeable, efficient and extremely helpful in accommodating our requirements. Our newly renovated house is exactly how I envisaged the final result, the finishes and attention to detail are 2nd to none and I love our new ensuite. Matt and his team were wonderful and I could not thank them enough for the work they have done.

It is with great pleasure that I write this testimonial on behalf of The Lost Art of Construction, a Sydney based Building Company, who I can truly thank for making my new renovation something really special.

From the moment, I spoke with Matt Sullivan he was fantastic, after wasting time chasing down several other quotes there was no hesitation in knowing he was the man for the job. The team at The Lost Art certainly gave me the personal touch by listening at length to what our desires were in creating an outstanding addition to our living area. The amount of advice given and time spent has been without a doubt the reason we are 100% satisfied with the job done.

Matt kept to my budget and I was in close contact every step of the way. They gave me ideas that have all worked so well.
We have received so many positive comments regarding our new addition and would recommend this fantastic team of builders to all serious renovators, you will certainly be welcomed with friendly, approachable and reliable people that will go above and beyond to fulfill all your wishes.

Thank you so much Matt, Steve and Jason for a job well done.
